Believe it or not,  society has been mesmerized by the "lure of water" since ancient civilization.  Our ancient forefathers quickly discovered the medicinal secrets of water and used these secrets to enhance the well being of their lives.   The secret  -   "water has a calming effect" on all living things.

Early Asians used the healing power of water.    Quickly discovering  that water enhanced one's ability to concentrate during  a meditation ritual,  beautiful and luxurious water gardens and magnificent  floras were created throughout their homes and property.  Listening  attentively to the sounds of the water, viewing the magnificent floras  and relaxing;   meditation became easier and more enjoyable.

    Ancient Italians looked upon  water as a toy and playful lure.    Having magnificent and ornate fountains and water gardens at  their homes and in the town squares was quite common place.      Whimsical sprays were built into these ornamentals to amuse pedestrians. Some fountains were even designed to squirt passerby's!  What a sense of humor the Ancient Italians had!
